Winters in Mass can cause damage to your property. Be one step ahead!

Blizzards and freezing rain are a pain not only for commuting but also for your property. Winter storms and freezing rain can cause ice dams here in Boston, MA and surrounding areas of New England.

Water dams can trap water and freeze pipes. The frozen water causes expansion which is common to burst or leak once the ice melts causing damage throughout your home or business. You should also be aware that mold can grow after frozen water is melted and mixed with humidity.

Mold is a living organism that spread pores throughout the area causing more damage. It is also known to affect your health. The best thing you can do for your home or business is to constantly monitor your property before and after a storm. If you discover damage you need to act fast to prevent further damage. Having emergency contacts (ie. roofer, emergency clean up, GE) is recommended so you can get the issue resolved as soon as possible.
